Participate in DATAKAMER
Share. Reveal. Challenge. Collaborate.

Contribute your insights to a global leadership forum shaping the future of digital preservation and exploring how collections can be activated, reused, and sustained in new contexts.

DATAKAMER welcomes submissions from thinkers, tinkerers, artists, and architects of the data world. If you have broad vision across the frontiers of data storage, orchestration, comprehension, or creative uses, we want to hear from you!

We’re especially interested in:

  • Research data workflows + infrastructure

  • Storage and sustainability

  • Metadata innovation

  • AI-ready unstructured data

  • Creative or cultural data applications

  • Human-centred systems

Possible formats: Engaging talks (15-30 minutes), thought-provoking panels, interactive workshops, capability demonstrations, etc.

Participation from every data-intensive problem space is warmly welcomed. This is the forum for those who desire active and direct integration in ideation and execution of wicked data problem solutions. We want to engage with creative thinkers, policy makers, and technology innovators from the broadest range: research infrastructure providers, GLAM institutions, Indigenous heritage custodians, broadcast and sport archivists, digital curators, and beyond…

Each of our global gatherings is centred around a unique facet of the overarching problem space, not a particular discipline or context. See our individual events pages to find the particular flavour that most delights you.

Submit your ideas below.

"Longevity is the key to sustainability — archives should last centuries, not just years."
